Graphic Designer

Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, Lauren acquired a knack for making things beautiful at an early age. As a Public Relations major at The University of Alabama, graphic design was a component of the coursework that earned the program a #1 ranking in 2008. She didn't know where this degree would take her, but with a lot of creativity and hard work, Lauren was able to begin her career in 2012 with UAB (The University of Alabama at Birmingham) in the role of marketing and program development for the Department of Psychology. She quickly re-branded the department and focused much of her efforts on designing news magazines, brochures, and course flyers to increase visibility and enrollment on campus. Somewhere in those 3 years she decided that her passion was truly graphic design.

In 2015, she  began working for McGriff, Seibels & Williams, an insurance brokerage firm that has been a staple in Birmingham for over 100 years. As an industry that lies outside the box of traditional graphic design, she has truly thrived in an environment that challenges her every day. In 2017, she was awarded "BB&T Great Performer" and "McGriff Top Performer" for a year long re-branding campaign she lead in 2016. While focused on the corporate world by day, she loves taking on freelance projects and contract work for anyone who needs a little creativity to liven up an invitation or a media package to start a new business.
